Male Birthday Card!

I had a really hard time trying to make a birthday card for a boy. I mostly do girly cards with flowers and what not...so this card is simple but gets to the point! haha. So here goes nothing. I forgot to take a picture at home since I was rushing so this is courtesy of my friend's iPhone!

Cards for a cause

I read a couple of days ago about a 13-year old girl who lost part of her arm in a boating accident. My heart went out to her and her family and I praise her for the positive attitude she is having. Click HERE to read Erin’s blog and for the direct link on Paige’s story.

They couldn’t fit anymore flowers and gifts, but cards are welcomed.

I told my 4 year old about what happened and she was sad and had a lot of questions, she asked if she can make a card with me, so here are our cards we sent to Paige today.

Isabel’s card says “sending you thoughts and Prayers” and in the inside it says “Get Better Soon”

Zavian’s Baptism

I made this card for my nephews baptism. I was having a hard time trying to come up with a boy card. I didn’t have any baptism stamps so I found a clipart off of one of my programs….Only I didn’t have any ink left in my printer so it printed all funny and light and I could barely see it!! So I had to “re-draw” the image by looking at the computer then the paper…anyways, here is the final card.

April...Raindrops

Here is a page from another swap I joined. I got April, April, what do you see, I see raindrops falling on me..." Ok...granted you don't see the raindrops on there...I will admit, I didn't remember it said "raindrops falling on me" until just RIGHT NOW (literally) when I pulled up the swap description for the name of the swap...

...Luckily, after I took this photo, I added raindrops to the page thinking it might look a little better...lol...thank goodness I did otherwise I would have felt dumb! LOL.

Hello Kitty: Cricut

Chicks: $1 Stamps at M's. I stamped onto the page then onto white cardstock, colored them, in and cut out the bodies and adhered them with pop dots.

This was my first time joining a swap...I made 27 of these recipe pages...and boy was it time consuming gluing all the letters (lol)....I still feel like something is missing from the page, but I think I will leave as is for now.

My letter was "T" so I did Saltine Chocolate Toffee. I can't wait to get the book back for these. Thanks Maria for hosting this on the Cricut MB.

Valentine’s Day Crafts

I helped my daughter make this for her papa (hubby) for his Valentine card. I showed her a pic of what it should look like and she went from there….did the gluing and writing herself ☺ Not bad eh?

Here is the little card we made for hubby from the baby (4 months old). I just painted her little feet and "stamped" them on cardstock!

I made some christmas cards for my mom. The Letters in Joy are from CTMH Stamp set and so is the Snowman. I put the snowman on a little 3D adhesive (although you can't really tell in the pic). The paper is from DCWV paper stack.

Christmas Card Gift Box Set

Hello! I just finished my Christmas card box set...and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. I got the cut file for the box from JenC (thank you Jen ☺http://jensbrainthings.blogspot.com/2008/10/stationary-box-a2.html). I used the expression version of the box. I fit five cards and envies, and three tags...there is a lot more room in there for more stuff. I think I will try the baby bug version next time just to see what will fit in there. The pics are al little blurry ( I need a new camera).

"Sisters" Picture Frame

I bought two frames at Target for $1.98 for the set. They were just plain white and I thought I can try to alter my first picture frame! So, here it is. THis will go in the girls' room...their room has bright colors like these, so hopefully it will be perfect, now I just have to take a good picture of the both of them...

I used Mod Podge to adhere all of it.

Sour Cream

I made these sour cream thingys (don't know the right word, lol) to hand out at the hospital instead of the It's a Girl cigars. I was handing them out like crazy...and the nurses really enjoyed the candy inside...especially the ones that were on 24 hour shifts! I also handed them out to people that came to visit us at home...

Nothing too special about them, I just wanted something quick and easy...and I didn't want to put too much into it since they would just be opened and thrown away.

I made these for gifts for my baby shower. I really like the way the green one came out. I got the directions from: http://jackietopa.typepad.com/Stationary.pdf . Very easy to follow. I also made tags for these, but the pics didn't come out to well...so I didn't add the pics here. These were really fun to make too!!

Today is my mom's birthday...she loves Lighthouses. I made this card for her. I got the lighthouse from Susan BlueRobot's Blog (http://susanbluerobot.blogspot.com/2008/01/light-way-plus-pattern-link.html) Thank You Susan for the cut file. This was the first time pieced something together from DS. I was so confused, but I tried it out and it worked...lol...thanks again Susan.

I want to thank Alice for helping me create the dress...I was having such a hard time on CDS (Cricut Desgin Studio) trying to make the dresses match up. So she was an angel and offered to do them for me :) Thank you so much Alice for taking time out of your day to help me :)

I have been looking for the swiss dots embossing folder for my cuttlebug, but everywhere I went they didn't have them...Michelle was nice enough to send me an extra one she had...thank you so much Michelle.

I made this RAK for someone on the circut message board. I am hosting a secret sister group and asked the girls to think of name for the group....and I would pick a winning name. Well, GirlyGirl won and this is what I sent her. I am sooo glad she like it, I was worried she wouldn't like it.

I altered a CM file mate accordian file. I made a card for each pocket and also gave her some stamped images so she can create her own cards ☺
